What we all experienced tonight was more than just relaxation. ❤️

It was your body responding to vibration in the way it was designed to.

Sound is not just something you hear
It is something your body feels.

Those tones and frequencies helped shift your nervous system out of a constant state of stress and into a state of calm.

And that matters more than most people realize.

Because when the body is stuck in stress mode, everything feels harder

Women with lipedema often feel like they’ve tried everything. As an RDN, I see this every day.

💡 Often, it’s not what you’re doing wrong—it’s what’s being overlooked.
One example? The estrobolome—a collection of gut bacteria that helps eliminate excess estrogen. And we know how much that matters for lipedema.
Here’s what’s happening:
Your liver prepares estrogen for removal, but certain gut bacteria produce enzymes that can reactivate it—allowing it to be reabsorbed instead of excreted.
This can influence circulating estrogen levels.
🚨 But it’s not as simple as “too much estrogen.” The estrobolome is complex—and this isn’t just about estrogen alone.
In conditions like PCOS, gut imbalances are tied to insulin resistance, inflammation, and hormone shifts. I see these same patterns with lipedema clients, too.
Research on lipedema is still growing, but we already have strong clues that gut-driven inflammation plays a role.
So instead of chasing one hormone, we support the whole system.
That can look like:
✅ getting enough fiber
✅ increasing plant variety (even small changes count)
✅ using targeted probiotics when appropriate
These aren’t flashy—but they’re powerful.
Because when your gut improves, it supports:

1/3 cup olive oil⁣
3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar⁣

Salt & pepper⁣

Shake to combine.⁣

🥗 SALAD⁣
5 oz baby spinach⁣
1 Honeycrisp apple (half sliced, half chopped)⁣
1/4 cup pepitas⁣
1/4 cup pecans⁣
1 shallot, thinly sliced⁣
1/4 cup quinoa (dry)⁣
1/2 cup broth or water⁣
⁣
1️⃣ Bring liquid to boil, add quinoa, cover & simmer 12–15 min⁣
2️⃣ Let sit 5 min, fluff, cool⁣
3️⃣ Toss spinach with toppings + quinoa, add sliced apple, drizzle dressing⁣

Lipedema Summit 2026 Filming

I had the opportunity to travel to Los Angeles last week to film a segment for the Lipedema Summit happening June 10 to 12, and it gave me a moment to reflect on how much this journey has changed me.

There was a time when this diagnosis felt heavy physically, emotionally, and in how I saw myself. I never could have imagined that something that once felt so limiting would become the very thing that expanded my life in the most meaningful way.

Lipedema did not just shape my path; it clarified my purpose.

Every day I get the opportunity to help make someone else’s life a little better, and in return, it has given me so much more than I ever expected.

It is incredible to think about everything I have gained from this journey, especially the chance to connect with so many brilliant, resilient, and inspiring lippy women along the way.

Being able to meet women where they are and share evidence-based nutrition in a way that empowers rather than overwhelms is something I do not take lightly.

This work is personal. It is lived. And it continues to evolve me into a better version of myself.

Grateful to be part of something that brings real education, connection, and hope to this community.
